Common questions
- My alarm didn't ring. Make sure notifications are enabled for NotiAlarm (iOS Settings β Notifications β NotiAlarm), and add NotiAlarm to your Focus's Allowed Apps (iOS Settings β Focus β your Focus β Apps) so alerts break through Do Not Disturb and Sleep.
- How do I connect a source? In the app, go to Sources β Add source and pick your service β TradingView, Ring, Home Assistant, Nightscout, Grafana, Stripe, GitHub, IFTTT and more. Each source shows step-by-step wiring instructions with your personal webhook URL. Anything that can send an HTTP POST works via Custom webhook.
- Which sources ring directly, and which need a bridge? Many services (TradingView, Grafana, Stripe, GitHub, Home Assistantβ¦) call your webhook URL natively. Some consumer devices (Ring, Oura) route through their official IFTTT channel β the in-app card for each source explains exactly what's needed and what it costs.
- Can my family get the same alarms? Yes β share your source's webhook URL with them and they can subscribe to it in their own app (Sources β + β Subscribe to a shared URL). Everyone subscribed rings at the same moment, each with their own sounds and settings.
- The alarm won't stop. Dismiss it from the alarm screen β slide to dismiss, or complete the challenge if you enabled one for that alarm.
- How do I match specific alerts? In an alarm's settings, use the match pattern:
*fires on every alert from a source, or append*to a prefix β e.g.NQ1!*for one symbol,Ring:*for tags starting with "Ring:", or paste an exact tag for an exact match. - How do I delete my account and data? In the app, go to Settings β Delete Account. This removes your account and all associated data immediately.
