Turn an important email into an alarm

Alert emails from your bank, your broker or a monitoring service land in the same inbox as newsletters. Your phone makes one quiet sound, if any.

When one of those emails really matters, you might not see it for hours.

Example: a NotiAlarm alarm ringing on a locked iPhone with silent mode on.

The fix, in 3 steps

  1. Get your NotiAlarm address

Add the Email source. It comes with its own inbox address, separate from your personal email.
  2. Send alerts to it

Paste the address into the service's alert settings. If the service only emails your own address, a Gmail filter can forward just those messages, and NotiAlarm confirms Gmail's forwarding request for you.
  3. Ring on the ones that matter

The subject line becomes the alarm text. Match words like *fraud alert* or *is down* so only those emails ring.

Questions

Does NotiAlarm read my inbox?

No. It only receives mail sent to its own address, and you decide what gets forwarded there. It keeps the subject line as the alarm text and discards the message itself.

How quickly does an email ring?

Usually within a few seconds to about a minute. Emails more than an hour old never ring.

Does it work with Outlook or iCloud Mail?

Yes. Any mail service that can forward mail works. The app has guided setup for Gmail, iCloud Mail, Outlook and Proton Mail.

Is NotiAlarm free?

The free plan covers 1 source and 1 alarm with Apple's default alarm sound. Pro adds unlimited sources and alarms, NotiAlarm's alarm sounds and your own uploads. It costs $4.99 a month or $35.99 a year after a 1-month free trial.

Is there an Android app?

Yes. NotiAlarm is on Google Play for Android 10 or later, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.1 or later.
