The fix, in 3 steps

  1. Add Grafana in NotiAlarm

    Pick Grafana as a source and copy its webhook URL.

  2. Create a contact point

    In Grafana, go to Alerting, then Contact points, then Add contact point. Choose Webhook, paste the URL and press Test.

  3. Route alerts to it

    Pick NotiAlarm as the contact point in an alert rule or your notification policy. Alarms read like Firing: High CPU.

Questions

Will resolved alerts wake me too?

Not by default. The default alarm rings on Firing only. Add Resolved in the Alarms tab if you want to hear recoveries.

Can the whole on-call team get it?

Yes. Share the source and every phone you share it with rings at the same moment, each with its own sound.

Grafana Cloud or self-hosted?

Both. Each has webhook contact points.
