How to make Discord messages ring like an alarm

NotiAlarm makes Discord messages ring like an alarm with its Push notifications source. It works from the Discord notifications already reaching your phone, so it needs no bot and works in any server you're in. Filter by server, channel, person or word. On iPhone it needs iOS 27. On Android it uses notification access.

  1. Add Push notifications

In NotiAlarm, add the Push notifications source. On iPhone it needs iOS 27. On Android you allow notification access instead.
  2. Pick Discord

Choose Discord from the app list. On iPhone, NotiAlarm walks you through one Shortcuts automation that runs when a Discord notification arrives.
  3. Ring on the words that matter

Add a filter like a server or channel name, a person's name, or a word such as signal, so only those messages ring.

Discord alarm questions

Do I need a Discord bot?

No. NotiAlarm works from the Discord notifications already arriving on your phone, so it works in any server you're in, even one where you can't add a bot.

Why didn't a message ring?

NotiAlarm can only ring on notifications your phone receives. Check that Discord sends a push notification for that server or channel.

Does NotiAlarm read all my Discord messages?

No. It only gets notifications from the apps you pick. Their text is checked on your phone and stays there unless you share that source with someone.

Can my whole group get the alarm?

Yes. Share the source and their phones ring too when a matching Discord notification reaches yours.

Is NotiAlarm free?

The free plan covers 1 source and 1 alarm with Apple's default alarm sound. Pro adds unlimited sources and alarms, NotiAlarm's alarm sounds and your own uploads. It costs $4.99 a month or $35.99 a year after a 1-month free trial.

Is there an Android app?

Yes. NotiAlarm is on Google Play for Android 10 or later, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.1 or later.
