How to set up an IamResponding dispatch alarm

NotiAlarm makes IamResponding dispatches ring like an alarm, through silent mode and Focus on iPhone. Add your NotiAlarm address as a dispatch email in IamResponding and every fire or EMS call rings until you're up. Nixle police, fire and evacuation alerts work the same way. Keep your pager on too.

  1. Add IamResponding

    In NotiAlarm, add the IamResponding source. It comes with its own email address.

  2. Add it in IamResponding

    In your member profile's notification settings, turn on email for dispatches and add your NotiAlarm address.

  3. Keep your pager on

    NotiAlarm is a loud second way to hear a call. Keep your pager and the IamResponding app on too.

Does it work for EMS?

Yes. Any dispatch your agency sends through IamResponding by email rings, fire or EMS.

What about Nixle alerts?

Nixle's police, fire and evacuation alerts for your area work the same way. Add the Nixle alerts source and use its address.

Does it work with Active911 or other paging apps?

Yes, through the Push notifications source. Pick Active911 or any other paging app, and its dispatch notifications ring as an alarm. On iPhone that needs iOS 27, and on Android it uses notification access. A paging service that sends email or webhooks works with the Email or Custom webhook source. See Push notifications.

Is NotiAlarm an emergency service?

No. It makes the alerts you already get louder. Keep your agency's official paging on.

Is NotiAlarm free?

The free plan covers 1 source and 1 alarm with Apple's default alarm sound. Pro adds unlimited sources and alarms, NotiAlarm's alarm sounds and your own uploads. It costs $4.99 a month or $35.99 a year after a 1-month free trial.

Is there an Android app?

Yes. NotiAlarm is on Google Play for Android 10 or later, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.1 or later.
