Hear it when a parent presses their medical alert button

When the button is pressed, the monitoring center calls family contacts one at a time. A call to a phone on silent or in a Focus is easy to miss.

NotiAlarm rings every caregiver's phone at once, and keeps ringing until someone dismisses it.

How to make a medical alert button ring your phone

NotiAlarm rings every caregiver's phone like an alarm when a medical alert button is pressed. It works with providers that send caregiver emails, such as Medical Guardian (OnGuard Alerts) and LifeStation (AlertMessage): give the provider your NotiAlarm address as a caregiver email. The monitoring center stays the emergency response.

  1. Turn on caregiver emails

Ask your provider for caregiver email alerts. Medical Guardian calls it the OnGuard Alerts add-on, and LifeStation calls it AlertMessage.
  2. Use your NotiAlarm address

Add the Medical alert button source and give the provider its address as a caregiver or emergency contact email.
  3. Test it, then share it

Ask the provider for a test signal and check that your phone rings. Share the source so brothers, sisters and neighbors ring too.

Medical alert alarm questions

Does this replace the monitoring center?

No. The provider's monitoring center stays the emergency response. NotiAlarm is a second, louder way for family to hear about it.

Does it work with Life Alert?

Life Alert has no caregiver email or other integration, so NotiAlarm can't receive its alerts. It works with providers that email caregivers.

Is NotiAlarm a medical device?

No. It is not a medical device or an emergency service. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Is NotiAlarm free?

The free plan covers 1 source and 1 alarm with Apple's default alarm sound. Pro adds unlimited sources and alarms, NotiAlarm's alarm sounds and your own uploads. It costs $4.99 a month or $35.99 a year after a 1-month free trial.

Is there an Android app?

Yes. NotiAlarm is on Google Play for Android 10 or later, and on the App Store for iPhone and iPad with iOS 26.1 or later.
